This is part of the old Antibe and has a walkable path leading up to the modern art inspired statue. It has a beautiful ocean view, the wind blowing through your hair, art sculptures around, old stone walls and a point for some great pictures....More

Fascinating sculpture overlooking the Mediterranean sea, attracting a lot of visitors, art loves and selfies hunters. The giant artwork by Catalan artist Jaume Plensa, made-up of letters from a Latin alphabet, taking a shape of a person in a sitting position and with an access...More

Have seen this sculpture a few times. It is stunning. When viewed against a backdrop of Cote d'Azure blue sky, you would be hard-pressed to see anything else quite so striking. Great fun trying to find your name/initials in the bodywork! At the moment it...More

You better get close to it to appreciate the size , amount of work invested in it and the view from there to the sea and the old town !

I have been going to visit this statue for two years now and never tire of it. The light at different times of day gives it a very different look, but my favourite time is just as it gets dark before the lights go on.

Just go down to the port and look to your right, beyond the beach. It's in the ramparts at the harbour.
