This place is super, super fun. In the evenings it’s packed so be prepared to wait for a table. The current piano player is brilliant- really charismatic. Silly hats, traditional absinthe fountains, glasses and spoons, a HUGE absinthe menu and a good crowd willing to...More

We have taken guests down into the Absinthe cellar a couple of times. The first time was Friday night. A pianist was playing, it was a totally new experience, people on neighbouring tables were exchanging hats, we had fun getting to grips with the the...More

On a hot, very hot day we stopped in for a tasting. Down the winding staircase into the underground "cave", with a working air conditioner was the start to a very much needed rest stop. Then, the fun begins. The owner indoctrinates you with a...More

Really impressive place, highly recommend to visit, very informative, interesting and with great sense of humor Bartender, who was very knowledgeable and easy interacting with the guests! To visit the place and know how exactly right to drink Absinthe is perfect place!!

Absinthe is certainly not my drink of choice but I had been told by several people that this place was well worth a visit. Live music and hat swapping with the tables around us brought everyone together and made for a really fun evening.

Our tour group had a separate presentation about absinthe and then we each had our own glass. Interesting how it is prepared - poured over a sugar cube.

The bar is quite small, down a twisty staircase in a cellar. Everyone joins in the singing to music DVDs shown on a large TV. Some nights there is a piano man. Everyone wore the hats provided and it was great fun. The absinthe is...More

Not sure I have ever had Absinthe before, but if I have, it wasn't like this. The staff ensure you are set up with the drink and associated water before leaving you to finish completing your drink. Absinthe is like ouzo, although I had one...More
