The vendors are French and they want to sell, so don’t expect small talk. You’ve the best choices of produce early in the morning. If you are interested in buying beach towels etc look there, they prices are good cause locals buy there too.

The market is small, but full of wonderful foods to try, produce and local wares. Antibes is a lovely spot to wander around and absorb. The streets have a lot of great shops and eateries.

The variety of products available here is amazing. There are loads of different fruit and veg vendors. Some seem to specialise in certain products. For example there is one vendor with loads of different varieties of tomato. Everyone is friendly, and the place is busy.

It's every day ! Best thing is the TER (regional) trains run very regularly. It's a short walk to town. May I suggest walking along the port and take in all the beautiful yachts ? Then enter Antibes through the big stone... More
