We stayed in Nice and travelled to Antibes by train. Very nice town with its old area and its yatch port. The climate in September is ideal.

Lovely little streets, quaint, lots of restaurants - the best Pizza place in at the back of Old Town. Really good antique market on Saturday - good prices - not expensive.

I recommend going late in the afternoon, most shops are open and you can spend some time roaming through the old town.
