Placed at the far side of the Rotonda fountain facing up towards the parade street the status stands in a nice spot. Good for a quick stop. This is also some kind of taxi zone, so among the statue, you'll be among a lot of...More

Cezanne lived and painted in this region, so it is apropos that a major statue depicts him here, in a noble place in the center.

Not sure why this is such a big deal even though he was the man in Aix. But, you can't miss it when visiting the TI office.

This beautiful life-size statue stands at la rotunda in the center of Aix-en-Provence . It was sculpted from a photograph taken in the early 1900s . The photo is on display in his workshop .

A nice memento of the great local artist, you will probably walk by if you spend a few hours in the city. Great for selfies, if you are so inclined.

Well worth a visit to see this statue which is situated near to the Tourist Office. To come to Aix and not see it would not complete your visit to the lovely city.
