Okay, it's my shortcoming (I admit a flaw every now and then) but ... my socks are still on (as in: this did not knock them off). Ho Hum. Few stand with flowers. Okay, the Town Hall is pretty spectacular and the Clock Tower is...More

There really is something to the expression “stop and smell the roses”. The Marche aux Fleurs is a small, yet beautiful market that gives you the sense that if we all took time to appreciate beauty in things like flowers, we would be happier and...More

We happened upon the market on a Thursday. The square is rather small - so the market is too. It closes down around 1.

It was fun to stroll through this out doors market and see the many different and beautiful flowers as well as the vegetable and fruit stalls. We purchased some great blueberries and apricots. There were some nice cheeses to sample too.

A small outdoor flower market, with gorgeous displays of flowers and plants, giving off the most wonderful smells. As with other markets in Aix, a great place to wander around.

Couldn't believe the extensive range of flowers on sale even in cold wintry January! Stumbled upon this whilst looking for a cafe & sat & sipped whilst looking at the locally flower stalls.

Whether you live here or are simply visiting, the flower market is an experience not to be missed. There is always a wonderful range of flowers to choose from, the prices are fairly reasonable, and the sellers are relatively well-meaning and helpful. I loved going...More
