"Hotel" translates into "large public building" in French (more or less) and this "Hotel" is the town's house for governmental business. The flags, balcony, and ornate wooden carved doors set this apart from all else in Old Town. There's a public square in front; it...More

Situated in the centre of the old town and close to lovely squares and the shopping area, this is a must place to visit. The peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of the town is heaven and the architecture outstanding.

At central city, lots of great cafes around and a wonderful watch tower with a historic statue inside and lovely Carillion. An inscription talking about the town's occupation and ultimate liberation is very moving.

We walked by twice and admired the clock tower from both sides. There was a small flower market going on in the morning - closing down around 1.

Most interesting part of the building is the clock tower....the various figurines and the roof of the clock tower. The town hall itself is set in a charming square in which the flower market takes place. If you’re walking round old town you’re most likely...More
