As best I could tell, this is the primary street in the city of Aix. It’s a unique corridor that takes you from the Rotunda and it’s beautiful fountain past tempting restaurants and unique stores, all along the southern edge of the most historic part...More

A lovely tree-lined street that separates the old and new towns. A great place to stop off for a couple of hours when travelling with plenty of places to eat and drink, and lots of interesting shops too.

One the sweet little french town, lots of shop and good food. Good vibe in the Cours Mirabeau. Plenty seating available. Well preserved old buildings.

It is just a street, not even pedestrian, with some fountains in the middle and o lot of cafes and restaurants. There are other places in Aix more beautiful and styled

Really a beautiful place to visit and to shop. Plenty of small shops and nice restaurants in the streets nearby. Saturday mornings there’s a big market in cours Mirabeau

So much has been written about this lovely street--the markets, the cafes, the fountains, the lovely buildings on the south side. Lots of construction going on now (2018) at the western end, the Rotonde, the streets leading there, which makes it less beautiful than usual,...More

I dont really enjoyed travelling to Provence in hot summer but its the time for summer truffles, lavenders and of course summer sale. Everything at Aix-en-Provence is at 30% to 50% off . Unfortunately shops closes on Sunday. Some shops even closes during lunch time...More

This is the parade street of the town. Fountains and restaurants. Right now, the big fountain is turned off and there are major roadworks around it so that was a bit of a bummer. A stroll along the street is a must when in Aix,...More

We spent 5 nights in Aix en Provence to explore the area. Most of the time we were outside of Aix but we did spend an hour or so walking in the Old Town. We walked down Cours Mirabeau which is the main artery of...More
