I have heard about spectacular this boulevard is and I really was anticipating it to be amazing. Reality check - the area all surrounding the big fountain was completely torn up for construction. The Mirabeau street must of had several trees die and they were...More

Hotels, bistros and restaurants and a street market that appears 3 mornings a week are some of the attractions of Cours Mirabeau. You might also hear live music or see a street performance all while enjoying this lovely, historic, largely pedestrian street.

On-street restaurants and coffee bars galore! This is a very busy street that doesn’t stop! Great choice of places to eat and/or drink. Home to a market that sold mostly factory clothing, and further down there are a few food stalls, selling fresh fruit and...More

Enjoyed the place, good shopping and good atmosphere. Lots of shops, all types. Good brasseries etc. Lots of people without it being over the top full though. Just nice!

This is THE street in Aix en Provence. There are mostly clothing shops, art galleries, and banks along one side, and restaurants, cafes and bars along the other. It is so lively, an open market on Tuesdays, Thursday’s and Saturdays.

Broad avenue that is designed for strolling along and stopping for a coffee or a meal. Lots of roadworks in Aix at the moment so at the Rotunde end a bit of a mess.
