After seeing the Apocalypse tapestry in the chateau, we went to see this museum. The Lurçat tapestries are impressive: very meticulous work, great colors, interesting stories, ... very beautiful building also.

This museum is devoted to tapestries, especially the awe inspiring works of Jean-Lurcat. The museum is on the 'other side' of the River Maine to the main part of Angers, so it's best to drive to this venue . There is no parking at the...More
