The Abbey is well maintained and restored. Unfortunately, it is a rather sterile atmosphere...coming across like an empty museum rather than being alive with history, furnishings and relics. The artwork which is there is informative.

there are many guided tours daily I am not sure if there a tour from Bordeaux, probably not as this is far from bordeaux all the best and enjoy your stay
