This clock has a very detailed face and is worth standing and staring at. Looks different at sunset. Go in the morning between 0730 and 0900 for good photographs

It is an interesting sculptural composition in a little arch. Too many tourists around, but, anyway, it looks quite nice. There is a big market nearby where you can try different food. Farmars are really friendly :) The place is in the historical center, so...More

My visit to Rouen was one of the highlights of my trip. Actually, on our "Paris" trip, our two days in Normandy were the best. In Rouen there is the Joan of Arc sites, and the Cathedral, but you most stroll the Rue de Gros-Horloge...More

On first glance this clock seems to be rather small on the inside, but behind the beautiful facade there is an entire building with multiple rooms to be discovered from which you can leer onto the street down below. Not only that, but you will...More

We came across this amazing clock while exploring the town. It is double faced so can be viewed from the side with smaller crowds. The whole structure is beautiful to behold and functions as a clock, lunar calendar and shows the days of the week....More

Well worth the few euros to visit the inside of this small complex of buildings, including the area behind the clock faces. An audio guide provides and interesting background to its origins and development.

The clock is beautiful. It does have just an hour hand, but it was fun to be able to estimate the exact time accurately anyway. I did not see the stair way or the museum. That might have made more of an impression on me....More

You can't miss this amazing astronomical clock as you walk through Rouen. It dates back to the 14th century. It only has one hand--to display the hour. It also displays the days of the week and the phases of the moon.

It's an easy walk - it's fairly level. I have one knee replaced and the other needs to be done. I always use a cane when touring (otherwise at home I don't) to give you some idea of how mobile I am.
