In two well presented old houses you get a vivid picture of what life was like over centuries. Beautiful textiles, furniture, ceramics all displayed to tell the story of old Normandy

While the museum contained some interesting items (such as traditional Norman women's head gear and lace-making bobbins), there was little explanation in English or French. The museum could benefit from more explanatory text.

There are nine rooms to see which is deceiving from the road. Very interesting and worth the stop. You can purchase a combined ticket to see other places. Helpful staff.

Probably wouldn't have seen this on it's own, but an interesting exhibition if you get it as a bonus. Wouldn't want to do this in high tourist season though, narrow staircases and small rooms. Mid-September is a great time to visit Honfleur

This and the Musee de vieux Honfleur are one and the same. It was an extremely interesting museum and includes the old Prison
