We visited the gardens, Monet’s home and museum. The lily garden was inviting a picture, as were the other gardens on his property. Absolutely a place to see if you appreciate Monet’s Art.

We visited in April, when the gardens were lush. Tulips and spring flowers everywhere. You should take a tour - we were with a Viking boat tour and it was included. They walked us around everywhere, including the interior of Monet's home and made sure...More

If you like flowers, this is the place for you. Claude Monet's home and gardens are so beautiful. You could spend hours looking at the flowers. The home has many replica's of his paintings too. Go early! The later it gets, the more people there...More

This was on the top of my list for our trip though France, ( last time we were in Paris we didn’t make it here, so this time I wasn’t going to miss out). We bought our ticket on line so we could walk right...More

Very busy by anyones standards. Going late morning, early afternoon helps, when most of the tour buses have vanished, but it's still a shuffle up and down the paths. Monet's house is sort of as he left it, many of his paintings, just don't know...More

This is definitely a place to see, just an hour away from Paris. I learnt interesting things reading about Monet: he made these gardens from scratch. The pond area catches the light so delightfully. We truely enjoyed the place. The village is small and much...More

The house shows a comprehensive collection of Monet's work that is displayed in many rooms. The gardens are his real masterpiece.

A espetacular place, conserved as it was when Monet lived there and paint some of his masterpieces. All atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. It's a great place to visit and it will be memorable for a long time.

It's when it opens for the day. I also booked online and my printed ticket had the same information, but we went in a little later. It's good to arrive early, though, because it gets crowded. If you have a printed ticket... More

Yes, same thing - only with the tour you get a guide, if you don't do the tour, you are free to walk around by yourself. We didn't do the tour. It is definitely something to see, beautiful! Enjoy!
