Don’t miss it, it’s an amazing piece of work and it’s free. They also have a interesting method of displaying on placards an historical depiction of the major events of Christianity. Well worth a few minute stop

The church is more impressive than the tapestry! Can spend around an hour exploring the church. Be sure to buy the timeline of church history in the bookstore... available in English.

Tour the cathedral - and if you don't mind the stair hike - tour the towers! Beyond our expetations - seeing the gargoyles and the bells up close - and w/a fantastic view of paris. Book the tower tour on line for easy timed access.

Visited early morning so extremely quiet. The inside is surprisingly understated in its design but the stained glass windows and chapels are lovely.

Fabulous place we came upon on a walk! Who would have thought such a wonderful cathedral would be so close to where we were staying!

The cathedral is a mix of architectures, heavy on the gothic. It's well worth seeing inside and out.

The cathedral Notre Dame of Bayeux was dedicated with William the Conquer in attendance. The current building has many gothic and later additions. It is well worth seeing. It’s in Bayeux.
