We like this town for it's variety of shops, brasseries, restaurants (including those in Petit Andelys). During our resent stay in Connelles, 10km away we found it the best for food shopping in Carrefour and independent patisseries, boucheries etc; market; really liked Le Petit Andelys...More

If you are seeking a small, quaint, reasonably priced Hotel, about 60 miles from Paris and 20 miles from Giverny, Chaine D'Or is your place. Sitting right upon the banks of the Seine in the quiet, lovely town of Andelys.

yes, the walk way is very accessible -in fact, so accessible that cars can even drive close to the castle (although they are not allowed!)
