We hired a private guide through the hotel which ensured that we would not have to wait in line. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was like a mini history lesson. Although the Queen's chambers are closed for renovation, we were able to see...More

Visited a few weekends ago over two days. Saturday was glorious, sunny and warm so spent all day in the gardens and visiting the Trianon estates. Sunday cooler and drizzly so spent time exploring inside. Crazy queuing on the Sunday - even with a 2...More

Booked a morning tour at 9:30am and was able to bypass the really long line-up to get into the Palace. Once the tour is done, they drop you off in the middle of the palace to explore! It was $18 Euros for the private tour...More

A short walk from the train station. Shock horror there is a massive queue to get in, took over an hour and finally we got in. The palace is gorgeous, but it is far too busy so it just spoils the experience. It would be...More
