Centre Pompidou houses many famous works of abstract art, notably Kandinsky. (It also has 1 Pollock tucked away, if you're a fan like myself don't forget to find it or ask a worker), and it's rating would've been higher if it simply wasn't one of...More

Fantastic place to visit, if you are not an art lover then i wouldn’t suggest paying to go inside the centre, although it is worth it just for the views of Paris you see from the top of the escalator that goes up on the...More

Very peculiar modern architecture for a modern art museum. I preferred the building than the content but it was interesting anyway. Although the building it's not so recent it still remains an original and very actual architecture that you must see at least outside.

I visited the Pompidou center on a rainy Parisian day, and it was probably the best way to spend several hours of that gloomy day. The museum is huge with many interesting exhibitions and interactive objects. They also have a great library and cafes where...More

A great museum, rich of artworks ranging from modernity to contemporary art, from the most famous to the newest and strangest productions of recent artists, some quite controversial, but anyway interesting. The venue is beautifully designed, spacious and offers a marvellous view to Paris’ s...More

The art was interesting and varied. Spent a few hours here. Was good getting the views across Paris. Not hugely into art but enjoyed this.

The structure itself is already interesting and also it houses the National Museum of Modern Art at the 5th level. Different art from famous museums in Paris. Very youth vibe and the plaza in front is a community itself of street performers.

I recently spent several hours enjoying the modern art on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors. I have visited many museums in many cities in the U.S. and Europe and I believe this is one of the very best. I’d rate it even higher than...More

This large, imposing, uniquely modern and unusual building houses a huge modern art collection, and often numerous exhibitions. Lovely. This is to modern art what the Louvre is to, well, older stuff. I visit often and always like, hence recommend, the "New Acquisitions" section.

I loved this museum, amazing and yes the views are great! But I was really really shocked about the costs of paris at the moment: with the pound and euro being completely out of sync.... restaurants and supermarkets are 4 TIMES !!!!!!! more expensive than...More

Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris,
Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but
the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it
houses the main shopping mall, which nestles
underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and
international restaurants coupled with beautiful
churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to

While it's possible that they've added a special exhibit on the top floor since we were there at the end of May, I did not see such an exhibit. Having said that, we ran out of time while touring the 4th floor, which houses... More
