I've been to Sainte-Chapelle multiple times over the years and it is always a wonderful visit. Get the Paris Carte Musee - skip the lines and save some money. The windows are breathtaking and the new video on the recent restoration project is illuminating.

Well worth a visit. The story of the restoration work carried out at the chapel is fascinating. The detail of the stained glass windows is just overwhelming. I’m glad we visited at a quiet time of year as we had plenty of time to absorb...More

I was a little put off by the admission (10 euros) but really wanted to see the stained glass windows. It was pretty awesome! Even the pillars had embossed designs on them. Highly recommend gong there.

A very heart touching chapel in Paris, the beauty of the stained glass is indescribable. This is a very short tour, so you can fit between others.

It is the worlds biggest collection of decorated glass panel paintings. It has all the books of the Bible in each panel as a story. On top of the doors is the story of the apocalypse in a beautiful flower-ish pattern. I was in awe...More

I would go to the adjacent Concierge first and buy a ticket for both venues. That allows you to skip the outside line at the Chapelle and also skip the interior line at the Chapelle itself. Both events are well worth it.

Beautiful and stunning stained glass. Well worth the price and a look inside when in the area. We did not find it to be very crowded like other larger churches either

Sainte-Chapelle is almost impossible to describe with words. The soaring walls of stained glass fill the space with diffused sunlight, offering the visitor a unique experience of calm and delight. The only other building that for me comes close to this one in its antiquity...More

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
