Dinan is an extraordinarily picturesque town. The whole town centre is simply lovely, and the Rue de l'Horloge is a street of many, but has the distinction of the clock tower as well. Well worth a visit.

Very pretty. Quaint. Charming. Not so easy to get to. There's parking nearby but it can take a bit to find it.

Dinan, a fairytale town like you see in Disney. It is so pretty and picturesque that I felt like a dream. It is a well preserved medieval town, filled with fantastically preserved half-timbered house dating as far back as the 13th century and cobbled streets.

Nice old village with plenty of historic building facades. However there are several other villages like it throughout France and Europe at large.

You could expect the musketeers to come out of the wonderfully old buildings in the old town. The mix of the shops and the old buildings is tastefully arranged.

The old town is open all year long: weather may be cloudy and cold. I suggest you to contact Dinan tourism office. I wish you a good holiday.

You can park but it is difficult. I parked the car. Not sure about public transportation.
