A great place to visit with a video with sub titles. An incredible moat, plus a drawbridge which really lets the imagination run back to the 12 th century and the battles. If you have School or college parties conducted tours can be arranged. It’s...More

Quite interesting and worth a visit although the chateaux only contains empty rooms with description of their use. You do get to see pretty much all of it though and it is pretty big and complete with keep and views from the roof top. We...More

This was our first castle visit with 3 and 2 year old. Slightly scary with them on the spiral staircase but they loved it. Staff very friendly and put out a model castle on the lawn for them to play with. There was also a...More

Ok so the only downside is it doesn't open in the morning so you have to plan your day. The upside is the Château /Castle is a real time capsule. Spend you time wandering around and soak up the history in the walls. The several...More

A very interesting place to visit. Set in picturesque countryside and well maintained. Lots of steps to negotiate. Splendid views from the top of the towers. A modest entrance fee for such an attraction

We set off to find this castle. It was not easy! Our in car sat nav could not locate it. The road signage was very bad, but we persisted and found it. It is a ruin and surrounded by a moat.

On way to second weeks vacation in Brittany and came across this delightful ruined castle. Well worth a visit and everything is also in English. Nice crepery at the farm at the side.

Brittany has many ruined medieval castles. Why this one is located here exactly remains a mystery to me, but it is hantingly beautiful and the almost attached creperie (summer only) is conveniently situated with wonderful views over the castle itself.
