Close to our accommodation, a visit to the chateau was a must. The guide gave us a glimpse of the history of this place, its owners/inhabitants and changes to the property over the years. Very enjoyable visit.

Lovely, quirky, quaint castle but my problem with this attraction is that the brochures market it as wheelchair friendly, and it is not. There is no disabled parking, the terrain is rough ground and to enter you have to go up steps and descent steps...More

Yes we're in France but the group was mainly British and we couldn't understand most of what was said. We were given handouts (but not enough for one each). Well worth going though if your French is up to it. Oh and milk for your...More

Not a large chateau by French standards but well worth a visit as it is steeped in history. Tours are available at reasonable rates and the grounds can be used for picknicks.

A great way to spend a typical showery Brittany morning. The staff were very helpful and provided a charming English guide. The history of the Chateau was fascinating, in beautiful surroundings.

I would recommend a visit to support the cause of restoring the castle but be aware you can't visit the castle unless you take a guided tour so probably good to find out in advance what times the tours are at. If you rock up...More
