First visit to Albert Hall (I know, I must get out more) and I was blown away by the place…… was there, with about 2,500 others to see Simple Minds and it is a near prefect (smaller than arena) venue. The big windows, high-ceiling are...More

Tried to contact them about accessibility for an upcoming gig, have emailed (no response), facebook messaged (seen, but not replied too), called about 25 times no one answers the phone or calls you back, and lastly I tweeted them, which was also ignored. Shocked and...More

We went to a proper gig here to see Jeff Tweedy the support was crap but the main act was great. This is a really good music venue but on the night we went it was absolutely freezing. The management hadn't put any heating on....More

Albert Hall is a fantastic venue in terms of acoustics and atmosphere; we thoroughly enjoyed Wilco lead singer Jeff Tweedy's voice and his wonderful playing of a selection of acoustic guitars. The ground floor offered unallocated seating on uncomfortable looking plastic chairs so we headed...More

The chance to see reasonably big names in an 'intimate' venue sounds great. The reality is 2,500 people packed into a church designed for probably 3-4 hundred. Unless you get there incredibly early and get one of the tiny number of balcony seats, you'd probably...More

We were lucky enough to brain tickets for the prince tribute night and the occasion was spectacular. The staff at the venue we better than most event site, polite, helpful and concerned about your safety. Limited range of beer and lager to purchase. Easy to...More

We came here to see a Prince tribute, called "Purple Rain", who were awesome by the way. The venue is clearly a place of historical interest. It seems quite old and was perhaps once a church? The balconies are fantastic and the stained glass windows...More

Really nice place, very cosy and atmospheric but at the expense of being dangerously over crowded and people unable to move once they are in the standing area. Plenty of complaints from people forced to stand in the corridors, so good job it's quite a...More

Standing capacity is 1800 plus between 550 and 750 upstairs depending on the benches. 1800 feels cosy, not easy to get around
