This lovely bar which opened a few years ago has been a real success in west didsbury, despite not being on Burton road. A great choice of wine and beer. I've never tried the food, but they do meat and cheese boards and some hot...More

Very good range of lagers and ales. Plenty of outside seating with blankets. Simple menu but just a tad overpriced I thought. Very nice glass of Riesling, ok glass of valpolicella. Friendly welcome, good atmosphere, family friendly

Been here on a busy Saturday night. It seems most of the times the space upstairs is rented for a private function, which means the only space for everyone else is the ground floor. It can get a bit crowded! Love the selection of spirits...More

Good range of wines and craft beers, in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent 'small plate' food selection, and helpful staff. Highly recommended !

Visited Wine and Wallop after a long gap due to an event outside. There is a most impressive selection of well chosen real ales. I had a blond beer by Brightside (not on their web site) which was so good, I had another when my...More

Richard you give just one star for supposedly expensive beer?? What about all the other aspects of a place?? Never mind let's look at your chosen subjuct of beer prices, and in particular compared to the other nearby places Albert's and The Metropolitan. (By the way WW has not changed hands but the beers have changed which may have changed prices, but there are lots of beers available at cheaper prices than Mahou) So here are prices taken from freely available drinks menus today 25th Jan 2018. Draught beers 4% basic lager £4.00 WW, £4.00 Alberts, £4.35 Metropolitan Guinness £4.30 WW, £5.00 Alberts, £4.75 Metropolitan Big Wave £5.60 WW, £5.70 Alberts, N/A Metropolitan Goose Island £4.80 WW, £5.30 Alberts, £6.75 Metropolitan Real Ales (locally sourced) From £3.60 WW, From £4.00 Alberts, £various Metropolitan Other beers WW sell… Paulaner £4.80 NZ Hopped Craft Beer £4.80 Brooklyn £5.60 All good prices in the market place And yes - Mahou £5.40 - that’s what it is. Bottled beers Modelo £4.00 WW, N/A Alberts, £4.94 Metropolitan Peroni £3.80 WW, £4.20 Alberts, £4.35 Metropolitan Corona £3.80 WW, N/A Alberts, £4.35 Metropolitan I think you'll see that WW are actually cheaper on EVERY BEER !! In closing why don't you do your research before putting such a pathetic review on Tripadvisor. Please remove your review at once Grow up Richard J
