This square is a great example of a historic square surrounded by fabulous old buildings. It bustles with a number of bars/restaurants and really comes alive when there is an event on, particularly the Christmas market

Often walk through here but don’t usually take time to stop and admire the fabulous buildings surrounding the square. Surrounded by eateries it is a great place

The town hall is very impressive to look at, but it is closed for renovations and will not be open for visitors before 2024. We came here to take the "hop-on, hop-off" bus which has its starting point from here.

Dominated by the impressive Town Hall, Albert Square is a perfect place from which to survey the eclectic nature of Manchester’s architecture.

Had a great evening in the Christmas markets, great food, great atmosphere, wasn't too busy for a Friday night, had a couple of really nice beers. Will be definitely coming again next year.
