Site of the gothic town hall and food festivals and Christmas market and switching on of the Christmas lights. However this Christmas will be the last for a number of years as the square is going to have a makeover to make it fully pedestrianised.

We visited the square on a sunny day, lot of works in the area to renovate the town hall, expected to finish in March 2022. The jaz festival was great with the selling of street foods and beer. The place was crowded with cheerful people....More

This square is a great example of a historic square surrounded by fabulous old buildings. It bustles with a number of bars/restaurants and really comes alive when there is an event on, particularly the Christmas market

Often walk through here but don’t usually take time to stop and admire the fabulous buildings surrounding the square. Surrounded by eateries it is a great place

No, from opening at the end of November. The market is open every day until the end.
