The station has an olde worlde charm with some character but needs a DEEP CLEAN and staff interested in the travelling public. Not to be regarded as "cattle!"

Found on this visit a much improved station. Plenty of outlets for retail and plenty. All neat and tidy which for this size of station is some doing. The toilets were good but on only one platform is far from enough. Staff helpful

Easy and free parking for dropping off and picking up. Easy access from the south via A59 coming from the Southport area.

One of the major rail hubs in the north west. Another old grand station similar in style to Crewe station.
