Found on this visit a much improved station. Plenty of outlets for retail and plenty. All neat and tidy which for this size of station is some doing. The toilets were good but on only one platform is far from enough. Staff helpful
I have never attended Preston Railway station when it's been anything other than freezing cold and windy but on this occasion the heat was significant but not as hot perhaps as external areas.

Preston station is the gateway to the north and also south. It’s an old station which is steeped in history. It has it good and bad points. Good the architecture is still amazing, Bad it leaks like mad after heavy rain and it slippery all...More
You can see as soon as you visit the Station that they are making attempts to improve the Station which is worth something at least. It's obviously old and dated and does need a refurb.
