To think that this place has a thousand years of history within it's walls blows your mind. With all due respect. It is free to visit, so do the right thing and donate five pounds when you go.

One of my favourite churches. A return visit for my wife and I and it was as beautiful as I'd remembered it. Please donate something as you leave and help it survive.

If you appreciate old architecture then you won’t be disappointed. The Abbey is beautiful and the history fascinating. The tea rooms are lovely.
