Ordered 2 Lamb Lunches asked about roast potatoes to be told the chef doesn’t do roasties!! The meals arrived was so looking forward to it. Well what a disappointment the mashed potatoes looked grey and the lamb was so tough it was impossible to cut. Absolutely disgusting it was the worst Sunday Lunch that we have ever had, I would certainly not return or recommend this establishment for food. The chef should be ashamed to serve up such a mess. Will not be returning. Went for a lovely meal afterwards that was edible. Nobody asked or noticed that the meals were barely touched very poor. Couldn’t wait to get out of the place what a total waste of money.…

Katy Daly's is a busy busy place but they found us a table for 2. There were a number of larger groups there and all were having a great time. My pictures posted here show how busy it was. We usually do not get pasta dishes in Ireland but both just sounded tasty and they were. We would go back here anytime we are in Gorey! The staff was friendly. We lunched in Katie's on a Sunday afternoon. There were 7 adults and 1 child. Excellent service throughout the whole service. Very reasonably priced and the food was excellent. We sat in the basement area which was really nice and quiet but also showed sports on small screens which was ideal. We had sharing platters of starters incl calmari which was top class, wings, garlic bread, prawns, nachos and ribs. Mains consisted of thai red curry, burger and chips, kids pizza, goats cheese salad, salmon, sunday special roast and steak sandwich all with great reviews. Dessert for me was a little let down as i had the snickers cheesecake which unfortunately was only a vanilla cheesecake cake with a tiny piece of snickers in it. Could have been so much better however the oreo one order by another of our party was lovely. Definitely reccomend a visit …

My wife and I went to Katie Daly's today and had a fantastic meal. My wife had the pasta off the Sunday specials, and I had the cod in beer batter. Both dishes were beautiful. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Be back next week.
