A really immersive experience of early Irish christian faith. The library was really something extra, really something unique. Something that really gave me a surprise was that my workplace was mentioned in Dublins medical history, Sahlgrenska University hospital(tuberculosis diagnostics). A real wow factor.

Even if you are not religious, the history of the Book of Kells is worth the admission. After viewing the Book of Kells exhibits, you go upstairs to view the Great Hall Library. Well worth visiting. There is also a gift store.

Visited this exhibition which was located in Trinity College. Was somewhat interesting. They exhibits were laid out in a very organized manner. Visited in February, so there weren't many tours ongoing. Didn't really check out the library

Definitely worth taking time to visit the school! Even if you're not taking in the Book of Kells, the school's historical architecture is amazing!

I was more interested in the library myself as it was so crowded even at opening time to be able to read all of the displays(without waiting 10 min for people to clear). Lots of tours taking up entire sections. The library was more calm...More

I really think they could cut the cost of admission just slightly, but even so, it is worth a visit. The Library blew me away..over 200,000 books and with the realization that writers such as Beckett, Wilde and Bram Stoker used this...is still incomprehensible. Magnificent!...More

The room where the book is stored is low light in order to preserve the book. No pictures are allowed there. The long room allows pictures, but in some cases they may ask you not to use a flash - again to protect the... More
