Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s crazy how this thing even came about, unless this tree was REALLY hungry lol!
It’s certainly something to see as it definitely quirky and weird, but it’s a good place to see.
It lies within the beautiful surroundings of Kings Inn Park home to The Honourable Society Of Kings Inn.

This is very near to St. Michan's, practically across the street. The grounds are beautiful and it's easy to stroll in to see the tree, which is just inside the wall. If you are walking by, check it out!

This park is pretty small and the hungry tree is pretty cool. If you are in the area I would advise visiting I don't imagine you'd spend more than 10 - 15 minutes there.

Located close to Ireland's oldest school of law and the Dublin Airport (DUB), this 80 year old tree looked like it was swallowing up whatever got in its way - a cast iron bench. I'm told it is listed as one of Ireland's Heritage Trees.

If you love nature and "cheer for it" it's a cool short stop, especially if you stay in walking distance to this park - otherwise I wouldn't drive to see it
Given, it's about 5 minutes away from Jameson Bow St. it's nice to incorporate it from/to hotel route for an easy and quick stop on foot :)

The hungry tree is an 80 year old London plane tree located on the Southern end of Constitution hill in the grounds of the (1541) King's Inn which is Ireland's oldest school of law.
Well worth a visit to see the bench being consumed by the tree if you’re in the northern inner city area

Pay attention that on Sundays the park is closed, but you can see the three from outside! Very amazing. The park looks pretty nice too.

My wife and I stopped here real quick before the Jameson tour to take a quick picture. It's literally just a tree that grew around a bench. I mean it was cool to look at real quick. Im glad we went though we liked it.
