Was told this was a 'must visit' but the staff were clearly there to take tourist money and that's it. Very unhelpful and the food not that great either. Just gie's a side plate of chips without having to buy lobster too aright??

Friends from Skye brought us to the Oyster Shed on a Sunday drive. Well worth the stop. Unassuming, extremely fresh and good value. It’s very casual so don’t expect the Ritz. There are other options to try but indulge and treat yourself to the oysters

We went hear after hearing rave reviews. The concept is great - seafood straight out of the sea and served from a simple shed. The reality was a little too basic in terms of the food I think. Some of the oysters tasted a little...More

The food is amazing. The pan fried langoustine (prawns) were heavenly. Be prepared, however, to use your hands to deshell. This was one of the places which was open beyond 2.30 pm when others were already closed.

Great seafood cooked there and then, plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view from the hill, excellent snacks and fizzy to eat there or take away - a real treat!

Parking the monster truck was a bit of an issue but if you drive further up the road there is a generous lay-bye which solved the problem! Worth every mouthful. Even in the pouring rain. We had crab claws and langoustines in garlic butter and...More

Lovely fresh Oysters. But please note, there are no toilets there. Good parking and other seafood to eat and shop has interesting food stuff to offer.

Walked up the hill from Talisker Distillery for lunch after sampling some whiskey. What a good decision. Had a plate of fresh seafood to share with friends and an amazing view from the picnic area next to the building (see pictures). As a bonus, the...More

The oysters come from right below the shed. Can't get much fresher than that!
