The course was in great condition, despite the long dry, hot summer.
Fairways were burnt, in areas, but the greens were immaculate.
Some long challenging holes, great par 3’s and wide fairways.

Belle isle golf course is a parkland James Braid course. It is most enjoyable with beautiful mature trees. It is long but not very hilly. It was in fairly good condition.

Nice course but too many sand bunkers for my liking. The sand is like sugar so quite tricky to come out of. The par 3's are very tricky as peppered with bunkers featuring high on the stroke index.
