The store is great and offers much more selection and better items than most we saw throughout Scotland. Apparently we missed the Kilt Making Tour (seeing others' reviews) and I am so bummed.

Dropped in to get some tartan skirts for the girls back home. Great choices but the service is great. One of the clerks is in his third year of Masters in History. We got a free lesson in Scottish history.

If you are looking for Scottish items this is the place in Inverness. Take the kilt making tour, its only $1.50 and while a little dated, the beginning is funny.More

Great if you are looking for formal kilt wear. They have expanded the store since my first visit in 1976.

Not many places are open late, but this shop has all you might ever want in Scottish products and clothes to beat the Scottish weather. You can watch kilts being made for a fee during the day. Some expensive gear and Harris Tweed.More
