Our hotel recommended this spot to enjoy some live Scottish music while in town. We popped in for a quick beer before dinner to listen to the lively music. Got talking to some Irish guys at the bar and became fast friends. Some Scottish gals...More

We stopped in for a beer because we saw a sign advertising traditional Scottish music. The music didn't start until much later than the advertised time, but we just hung out in the back and had a few beers. This is definitely a dive bar,...More

We attended Gellions for the finishing party of the Inverness or Bust Rally. We had over 40 people attend the evening and they all had a great time. The staff were really friendly and the live music was terrific. We hope to return soon.

Dropped by Gellions on a recommendation, was not disappointed, great live group, playing good Scottish music, the place was busy, a good sign that everyone knows that it is a worthwhile venue!

The hauntingly-mesmerising accordion music coming from inside Gellions drew me in. More tourists followed suit. Enjoyed listening to Ruaridh whilst supping a pint of lager.

We visited Gellions on several nights and we had a great time on each visit. The staff was great, good service and the place was always packed. This is a great stop and we met many fun people here.

Dropped in recently whilst visiting friends in the city, as we do fairly regularly. Couldn't believe the hike in prices, just under £14 for a pint of lager and a single measure of spirits with a dash of juice. When I questioned the price the...More

Hi Duncan, thanks for your review. We agree that sounds very expensive for a standard pint of lager and a regular spirit, as they are significantly less than half that price in our bar. We have added a few new premium and super-premium spirits such...More
