The staff in this shop are really helpful, however, we found the shop pretty difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair. Perhaps more thought could be given to the layout, including less cluttered aisles?

I live locally and pop in quite a few times per year. There is a mixture of some higher end good quality cashmere, kilts, good selection of shoes, jewellery, whisky and I've bought some great stuff over the years. Then there is no middle ground...More

Living locally, I visit Holm Mills every couple of years. Each time I hope for improvement but experience none. The shop is so outdated - what must visitors think! And full of low quality clothes and shoes. The cafe does have a pleasant lounge area,...More

No the original mill is not operating. There is an example of the old mill and weaving upstairs and I think that is demonstrated occasionally but it is not a working mill as such. Great shop though.
