Stopped off here after visiting John O'Groats. 2.5 miles up a single track road, but the views are totally breathtaking. Gorgeous views of the Orkney Islands. Dunnet Head is the most northerly point on the UK mainland.

This is a bit of the beaten track BUT well worth the effort to get there. If you do go, make sure you walk up the hill behind the lightnouse to get the full view.

We drove our here to enjoy the views, saw a lots of sea birds, explored the WWII bunkers, marvelled at the "sturdy" lighthouse...and viewed the Orkneys through our binoculars. Well worth the short detour off the main road to visit this area.

I'm afraid I can't answer your question as I'm not a tour operator. If you're on a cruise ship you could try asking the Purser or someone in their travel office. Have a great trip.😎

There isn't any at the location. The one road approach at the start has a Pub/Hotel. That's about it I'm afraid ☹️
