This is a lovely looking station - outside the glass & metalwork is beautiful & inside the way all the shops & stores look is in keeping with the image. Helpful staff & not too difficult to navigate your way around.

Glasgow Central is a great place to meet friends for a drink or just to come to a people watch. It is only a 5-minute walk for Buchannon Street.

It’s almost a pleasure to have to use this railway station. Despite the large number of users, I feel that this is one of the cleanest stations that I have visited. The building is primarily Victorian with a glass panel roof. Great deal of the...More

We used the Britrail pass to travel from Glasgow to London and return. It is a busy station that serves both the tube and long distance trains. So it is crowded with not many places to sit.

The glass roof and exterior make this a beautiful building. There are several places to eat and get coffee. The station has its own luggage storage accommodation where we were able to store our bags while we took a 3-day tour of Skye. The tour...More

It's f*king awful and none of the trains run on time. Wouldn't even reccomend visiting Scotland if you like to be places on time. Train service is a f*king joke.

Not to be missed for Glaswegians and visitors alike. Our guide Paul, whose passion project this is, makes the tour. His knowledge and eloquence really bring to life the history of the station, the city and her people. Really funny and very moving. And he...More
