Having been meaning to visit this church for ages. Finally went. Gorgeous stained glass. Almost on a par with St.John the Evangelist in Edinburgh. Quite small though, but still a lovely church and we'll worth a visit.

A truly beautiful building inside and out. Internally the cathedral has 5 stone arches spanning the perimeter of the pews. The roof can be seen clearly through the very high and perfect rafters. Glorious stained glass windows and a very unusual pulpit, with stone carvings....More

You can do a tour of this Victorian Cathedral, a bit uninspired from the outside but eye-catching within. Unfortunately we did not have time for this, but we enjoyed Sunday eucharist . We are Church of England and the service was a bit different. We...More

St Mary's Cathedral is far less well known then St Giles is but it's much bigger and just as interesting. It's a little out of the way, but that just makes it quieter. It's a lot bigger then St Giles as well, so photo's look...More

What a lovely service. Very inclusive and friendly, we felt uplifted and happy and our two small children enjoyed the service as well - that's a hard act to follow!

The Cathedral is open during the day for visitors (check hours beforehand) as well as for services. It is big and echoes, but the members of staff were very welcoming. Don't miss the beautiful carvings on the outside of the building. Street parking is metered...More

A beautiful cathedral church that celebrates Mass with outstanding music. Honestly, I'd say that you really can't die until you've heard the choir of St Mary's sing!

A beautiful Cathedral and an important part of Glasgow's west end. The most welcoming church I have attended. Well worth visiting for a service and the very high standard of music from the organists and choir, or simply for a wander inside.
