Riverside Museum is Glasgow's award-winning transport museum. With over 3,000 objects on display there's everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams and cars to a Stormtrooper. Get hands on with our interactive displays. Walk through Glasgow streets and visit the shops, bar and subway. Climb aboard a train, tram or bus and get a real feel for old public transport. Discover Glasgow's rich shipbuilding history, explore the car and motorbike walls and help put out a fire with our interactive fire engine. There are over 90 large touch screens panels full of images, memories and films that tell the fascinating stories behind the objects. There really is something for all ages to enjoy at the Riverside Museum.

Great free day out in Glasgow. If you have a child obsessed with transport then you're in luck. The tour guide busses go here too so you can combine that for a really touristy day.

This is a great museum with just about everything there is in transportation. Items stacked on the walls can be a bit hard to view with the height but still very cool. Good for kids and be sure to do the scavenger hunt with them....More

It's my favorite museum in Glasgow!! The inside of a museum is gorgeous! and the outside is fun as well! there is a big ship docked in the river! And it's a free entry as well!

We parked in Govan and jumped the Govan Ferry right to the Museum entrance. We also checked out the Tall Ship as well as all the exhibits. What a great time about 3 to 4 hours from parking up.

The museum is accessible for a pushchair . I don't remember a cloakroom, but you could just take it round with you
