This is a fantastic museum for families and its FREE. There are displays on every type of transportation imaginable; past, present & future. Every way you turn you find something else. Fantastic!

Definitely worth spending a day! And yes, it too is free. When we were there, the place was filled with families. What a wonderful thing to do for Glasgow families who want to spend time with their children and educate them as well.

… and that's not a good thing. Huge sum of public money spent not on conserving and displaying historic artefacts but on an expensive building by a trendy architect which as a result is smaller than it could be and has no historic merit itself....More

Don't really like museums, but this one is a must. Great for all ages. Really interesting and there is a nice cafe too.

It is very disabled friendly and actually hires out wheelchairs if needed. There are purpose built lifts to train footplates and a lift to the upper floor. You can see the same places as everyone else without a single step... More

The museum is accessible for a pushchair . I don't remember a cloakroom, but you could just take it round with you
