Visited the Charles Rennie Mackintosh and friends exhibition. Very informative and absorbing. Had a wander around some of the other parts of the art gallery and could spend days there rather than three hours.

This legacy of Glasgow's heyday has eclectic collections, and an active programme of exhibitions; and the staff make themselves visible and helpful (and they're knowledgeable too). The temporary exhibition of tapestries from the Burrell Collection (while the Burrell is closed), is superbly well-done.

Never tire of visiting Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery
A beautiful museum with a plethora of fascinating things to look at both natural history (clothing worn from the past) as well as sculptures and paintings. The architecture is beautiful as well. Worth a visit.
