Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Police Boxes were once very common around the UK for use by police officers to keep in touch with each other.

Hence why one was used by Doctor Who as his Tardis to travel from place to place as they fitted in easily.

Nowadays they are a rarity and if people see one they automatically think of Doctor Who. There is one in the Cathedral Precinct so if you want to get a pic and pretend to be a companion then this is the place to go.

There are various blue police boxes around glasgow and were recently all sold and are now operating as various businesses selling hot food, coffees, newsagents, etc.
Definitely worth a photo stop at least, maybe doctor who owns one, you never know!

A police box was used in the United Kingdom throughout the 20th century from the early 1920s. Historic police call post now used as a coffe sales point. Nice and strong morning coffee. In Glasgow you can meet them in several places.

Spotted this on Saturday afternoon while visiting Glasgow Cathedral. It is located at Cathedral Square and is unmissable as it's very distinctive. Sadly it was not open for business, or I would have bought a drink. A nice addition to any tourist area.

If you are a fan of Doctor Who then Glasgow is still the place to find some old Police Boxes.

Unfortunately they are not bigger on the inside. One of them sells beverages. One was coloured red.

They are a good photo opportunity.

There are a few of these old blue Police Boxes dotted around Glasgow but this one is in a predominant position on Cathedral Square. It has been turned into a small coffee shop.

This old one man police station is now a small kiosks selling beverages and snacks. It's run by a very nice humorous man. Buy something before you make a photo, it will help to preserve this unique spot!
