Stopped here after Breakfast and walked around. While we were there group was taking fly fishing lessons which was interesting to watch.

A short walk from the end of Princes' Street. Comparable to the crescents and circuses at Bath. worth the effort especially if you link it to a visit to the Georgian House

We enjoyed as easy walk through the new town and shops to Charlotte Square. unfortunately ours gates were closed but from the road you can see the statue

The architecture here is amazing. In the georgian style. Here it's a bit more spread out and edinburgh gets a completely different feel. I loved walking around Charlotte Square while exploring the "new" town. So easy to walk around edinburgh.
