Loads of independent shops including fishmongers and butchers . Go to the middle of the market and try the cockles - plenty of salt pepper and vinegar !! Also buy some freshly cooked warm welsh-cakes: gorgeous!!

One of the few reasons to visit the city centre. Pot of cockles, Swansea pie and a decent cup of coffee.

When the weather is poor this is a good place to stop off. It contains a wide range of stalls and many places to eat. Just wander around and browse or choose what you want to buy. Prices for food seemed very reasonable and competitive.
