Recently we visited this place with young Tryfan. Great place to visit all year long. Not far from Newport town centre. Just a few minutes off the motorway M4 (highway). Great place to have picnic. There is small restaurant on site.

If travelling from/to Wales and considering a service stop, stop here instead. Plenty of space for kids and dogs to run around, lovely National Trust cafe, plenty of shops to explore, and a house to explore too.
