This is a nice little park for walking dogs or going for a walk with your partner and family. If you are in the area it is good for a quick walk or even business walks.

The last time I went to roath it wasn't as good as before. The lake used to be really nice looking, now it just looks like a swamp. But it still is a nice walk around the lake. Especially if you live local. It is...More

The cafe on the lake is poorly laid out, and the staff are not happy. Tables sticky and dirty. No dogs allowed ...did you know turnover increases by 20% if you allow dogs in? Could do so much bbetter given its location.

No better place to wander round on a hot, sunny afternoon in Cardiff than Roath park. It has a huge boating lake with a choice of pedal or rowing boats for those with the energy! There is a cafe and an ice-cream shop so there...More

Well worth a visit when in Cardiff. Take a walk around the lake and pop in the Café on the way for a nice view over the lake. You can also hire rowing boats and there is a pretty decent adventure playground for the kids....More

Yes, but advise near the playground or gardens away from the lake as the birds will be attracted. Not that many picnic benches so best take a picnic blanket
