I live nearby so visit the park frequently. Each season has its own Beauty. It is also a magnet for local dog walkers most of them pick up after their dogs but the minority let their dogs defacate in the under pass.not a visit smell...More

A large park, with woodland trails, picnic benches and a meadow towards the golf course. I have been a few times now and there are still some corners of the park that I've not yet explored. There is a central pathway suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs, however...More

My favourite time of year is Autumn - in my view this brings the best out of this gem located just to the north of Cardiff, and easy to get to. I could rave on, but the attached pictures says it all.

Great place for a long walk and to take some photos :) We walked around for a few hours and it's not to hilly so for my wife who was pregnant is was a lovely walk

Beautiful place with car park and public toilets and the Old Cottage pub next door if you need refreshments. Miles of park and trails to walk the dogs in with a meadow up the top by the golf club. Try to go in the spring...More

Yes it is free to enter. Not sure about buses but it is really close to lisvane and thornhill train station.
