Mermaid Quay is in Cardiff Bay, Wales. You can walk the two kilometres to get there from the Cardiff city centre, or take a train or a boat from Bute Park along the river Taff. The Quay has a Harbourside Walk, lots of pubs and...More

We caught the Ferry down to the bay, it was lovely, very informative and something I had never done before, despite living in Cardiff.

Quite a few bars around the front - boat trips can be booked at the Quay - we took the ferry to sophia gardens and back - nice inexpensive boat ride up the river Taff.

Jam packed with restaurants and cafes there is bound to be something to suit your taste. Getting a table with views across the Bay is also brilliant, as is eating outside on a sunny day.

Modern, busy buzzy, and full of bars, restaurants, and kiosks foe day trips by boat around the bay. My only criticism is most of the restaurants are of the chain type. There are plenty of walks in the area.

Enjoyed spending time eating here looking out onto Cardiff Bay. Whole range of restaurants to choose from plus well designed spaces and great architecture all around. Quay is pleasent and the boatr rides are worth doing for a different perpsective of the Bay.

Hi Terry The public toilets are located upstairs by the entrance to The Glee Club. The entrance to upstairs is opposite GBK on Bute Street. Hope this helps. Thanks

Sorry, didn't use the sofa bed but if it's anything to go by the main bed was very comfy.
