Situated amongst some breathtaking views and architecture are a multitude of establishments to ensure an enjoyable visit. Although slightly weighted towards chain restaurants there are some hidden gems (although the recent closure of the superb pearl of the orient is a huge loss) and some...More

We didnt allow enough time to see all that is on offer at Mermaid key. It appears to be a farily modern development with decking walkways and coffee shops on stilts standing in the sea. Boats are available to take you on trips around the...More

The place was clean and everything worked. It wasn't exactly stunning, but a reasonable place to wander around. Some good views over the bay though.

Lovely quay to arrive at on the Water bus, there was a Lego exhibition and so many cafes and restaurants with food from around the world and there is a shrine to Ianto Jones, an amazing area which is obviously popular with visitors and locals

We visited the Lego Big Cats installation in Tahoma Square, a selection of cats from the wild expertly crafted using Lego. It’s free and an ideal outing for all ages. Running over this half term break.

Part of the waterfront redevelopment of Cardiff bay, the Mermaid Quay is a stunning setting with views over the water of the bay. Not touristy, so you'll be mixing with locals. Nice and relaxing part of the Welsh Capital.

Hi Terry The public toilets are located upstairs by the entrance to The Glee Club. The entrance to upstairs is opposite GBK on Bute Street. Hope this helps. Thanks

Sorry, didn't use the sofa bed but if it's anything to go by the main bed was very comfy.
