Much of the stained glass on the left side is done in tribute to soldiers lost in the WW1, and some in WW2 and later. Wide variety of styles, which was interesting. I happened into the space at 5:45pm on a Sunday, and was invited...More

Went on one of the days when you can climb the bell tower. You get a demonstration of bell ringing, and get to ring a bell. In any case the church is interesting in itself.

Magnificent church. A lot of detail to see in the stained glass. It’s not a large building but excellent viewing. A must when in Cardiff

Church has pieces dating from Norman era through Victorian. Fabulous stained glass windows. Look at the outside carefully to fullyunderstand the different eras as shown by the different stone. It is right in the heart of Cardiff and worth a 15 detour from where ever...More

This church is absolutely worth a visit. I love beautiful churches and also therefore this was one of the highlights of Cardiff for me. Also a very irregular organ inside.

An historic place to escape the bustle for 10 minutes. Worthy of a stop to look around and admire. My great grand parents were married here in 1873. Cafe was closed today though.

Until two hundred years ago, Cardiff was a small town, and this is one of only two surviving mediaeval buildings (the other is the Castle). From the outside it looks like it originally was: the parish church of a small town. It's surrounded by fairly...More

We've had a hunt in our records, through the whole period 1822-1828, with no success. Our secretary checked on an ancestry website and found a Trehearn Watkins marrying a Catherine Bassett on 18th March 1822 in St. James... More
