We popped in to get ideas for what to do for the day. A map of the town was provided with a poetry trail on it. Suggestions were made as to what we could do and places we could visit.

We visit Brecon and Abergavenny every year. There is plenty of outdoor activities for adults and children. Llangorse is great for both adults and children. Canoeing. Pony tracking. Good food at the Pub. B and B. Brecon has plenty to occupy you on a wet...More

Very friendly staff. Advised us about a additional walk alongside the river Usk maintained by the Gurkhas which we found to be interesting with lovely views of the river.

As another contributed has stated the tourist centre has closed however the local town council have opens there own information centre opersite the public toilets just of the car park in Lions yard. There are some very helpful volunteer advisors giving a good service there...More

Sadly no longer exists in the car park, it has been closed. If you want information you need to go to the Library situated in Ship Street. Leaflets can be located in the entrance way. The Library staff are very knowledgable and can answer most...More

I came into the centre for info on the area and the staff were very know legalese and friendly. They gave me info on the kites. Well worth a visit
