Walking around the lake is peaceful and scenic, especially looking at the changing colours of the leaves. You do require good strong walking shoes to walk around here. There is a train that takes you at the side of the lake and through the forest.

View points at either end and bright or brooding water and cloudscapes. Walk or take the little train

It is a lovely setting, great scenery and lots of different way to enjoy it. Take a steam train ride around it, walk, paddle a canoe, row a boat or just sit and enjoy the many views! It looks very different as the lighting changes...More

This is a lovely lake with many different activities available - paddle boarding, canoeing, sail on a boat etc. As there are lots of flat thin pieces of slate, it's brilliant for skimming stones across the lake!

Our SUP activity was moved from Anglesey over to Llanberis lake, and oh what a difference. To launch our SUPs in such clear and still water was amazing. Fun to explore from the pontoon to the slate museum and back, as well as a paddle...More

Took a short walk by lake with my sister's dog, then a short walk through the village. There's a little steam train. That will take you around the lake stopping at mining museum etc, plenty things for kids to do lovely spot.

Complete circuit of Llyn Padarn is a nice walk. Also you could walk up through the Llanberis slate quarry, from Llanberis to Nant Peris, and return along the road. Otherwise take to the mountains, but be careful to wear good... More
