Broadway, and especially High Street, must certainly be the most beautiful village scene in the Cotswolds. it is so well maintained, clean, and clearly upscale. Excellent shops, galleries, hotels and restaurant line the street and all look so inviting to the visitor. There are many...More

We visited Broadway on a lovely sunny November afternoon, plenty of lovely shops, eateries and chocolate box houses . A must on anyone’s list

Broadway ticks all the boxes for charm in this lively Cotswold village. The architecture is quintessentially rural England without being too chocolate box! There are great 'non-High Street chain' shops to browse, lovely galleries and cafes, restaurants and grocery/delicatessen.

There are few cars in the High Street & car parks are hidden behind the shops. These factors make for an even more pleasant experience. The High Street is visually stunning with almost none of the mostly independant shops having huge glass frontages as so...More

A selection of eating places, we found The Broadway Hotel to be the best but we also liked the Lygon Arms wine bar.

This place feels like a it’s part of a Disney set. Yes it’s pretty but it doesn’t have the charm of the many other villages littered throughout the area. It just has an artificial tourist vibe and is TOO perfect. We didn’t stay long.

Broadway owes its name to the grandeur of its High Street, a wide thoroughfare around a mile in length most of whose buildings are built in Cotswold stone. Its most impressive is the Lygon Arms an ancient coaching house now a luxury hotel. But what...More

I have never before seen such a wide and straight high street in a village that's supposed to be historic? Yes it's yellow and yes it's touristy but is it really genuine history, I wonder!

Broadway High Street is probably one of the nicest places in the UK. Outstanding buildings and houses made from Cotswold Stone. The village is just beautiful. There are lots of places to eat and drink as well so some small shops.

A wonderful selection of shops, some interesting, some amusing and one very tasty deli special shop. Even the standard shops just effuse difference and class. Anyway seems busy from 10 till 5 - good pubs ( in hotels) and interesting bookshops.

The village is extremely charming. All kinds of shops and restaurants to browse and eat in. There is also a Budgens grocery store where you can stock up on basic groceries for your cottage.
