This has the reputation of being the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds.
It’s certainly very pretty but actually not a lot to do there, a few coffee shops and slightly twee shops and that’s about it
I haven't been to Broadway for years and I wont be returning very soon. Parking is a nightmare and to be honest it was boring. A couple of interesting shops and that was it. I much prefer Chipping Camden. Morton in Marsh and Stow.
Took a coach trip here at the beginning of December for the annual late night shopping. Very festive. Lovely lights. Loads of people. Carparks all full. Shops and restaurants all packed. Really enjoyed. Will go again next year
Broadway ticks all the boxes for charm in this lively Cotswold village. The architecture is quintessentially rural England without being too chocolate box! There are great 'non-High Street chain' shops to browse, lovely galleries and cafes, restaurants and grocery/delicatessen.
There are few cars in the High Street & car parks are hidden behind the shops. These factors make for an even more pleasant experience. The High Street is visually stunning with almost none of the mostly independant shops having huge glass frontages as so...More
This place feels like a it’s part of a Disney set. Yes it’s pretty but it doesn’t have the charm of the many other villages littered throughout the area. It just has an artificial tourist vibe and is TOO perfect. We didn’t stay long.
